The 6th Jackie Chan International Action Film Week opened on October 14

1905 movie network news Recently, the main poster of the 6th Jackie Chan International Action Film Week was announced. The poster was designed by Lin Cunzhen, deputy dean of the School of Design of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and director of image landscape art of the cultural activity department of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games Organizing Committee. It is composed of the number 6 representing the 6th session and the big gong being sounded.

Among them, the combination of the number 6 and the film shape highlights the theme of kung fu and technology in the form of technology and light sense; and as a classic musical instrument in traditional Chinese opera and action drama, the gong interprets the phonetic synesthesia of action movies. Whether the name of the "big gong" or the action of "playing the gong" is cleverly homophonic with the host city Datong, fully setting off the festive atmosphere of the film week.

It is reported that the activities of the sixth Jackie Chan International Action Film Week include "city entry ceremony" and "theme forum".The festival will be held from October 14 to 16 in Datong, Shanxi.

Shared power bank: price increase is the first step, the second step has not been thought of yet

It’s getting less and less useful.

"33 minutes of use, the amount payable is 5 yuan." After returning the shared power bank in a shopping mall in Beijing, Yang Hui (a pseudonym) stared at the payment page on his mobile phone and sighed again.

When the bubble of sharing economy such as shared bicycles, shared cars, and shared umbrellas burst, only shared power banks came all the way to the end. At present, the market pattern of "three electricity and one beast" dominated by street electricity, small electricity, incoming calls and monster charging has been formed. On May 19, "Shared Charging First Share" Monster Charging released its first financial report since listing. Data show that its 2021 Quarter 1 operating income was 846.90 million yuan, an increase of 162.5% year-on-year.

Head-sharing charging operators seem to have survived well, but they have been criticized for gradually raising rental prices. What is the logic behind the price increase? Is the price increase a normal market behavior, or is it a new round of "cutting leeks" after the operator’s "horse race"?

Why have prices risen?

The payment information shown to reporters by Yang Hui shows that using a brand of shared power bank for 33 minutes requires a payment of 5 yuan.

The increase in the price of shared power banks has attracted the attention of consumers as early as 2019. Recently, with the surge in user scale and landing scenarios, prices have risen again. Consumers have felt strongly about this, which has further promoted the topic.

At present, the billing system of shared power banks is mainly divided into free time, billing standard, billing unit, daily cap price, and total cap price. After sorting out the adjustments made by operators to several of the standards in recent years, the reporter found that any change in the standard will affect the rental price accordingly.

Taking incoming calls as an example, in 2019, users can charge for free for 2 hours in a single consumption, while the free time in 2020 and 2021 has been cancelled; in terms of billing standards, it will cost 1 yuan per 30 minutes in 2019 and 2 yuan per 30 minutes in 2020; in terms of billing units, it will be charged every 30 minutes in 2019 and 2020, less than 30 minutes will be charged for 30 minutes, and in 2021 it will be charged per hour, and less than 1 hour will be charged for 1 hour.

"Maybe the two-hour free time is about the same. Now not only has the free time been shortened or cancelled, but the billing standard has also been changed, and it is obvious that more money is spent." Yang Hui said. It is worth noting that even if the billing standard has not changed on some platforms, the adjustment of the billing unit will make consumers pay more for the same time. For example, under the premise of the same 1 hour and 15 minutes of use, the user will pay 1.5 yuan more for a billing unit that charges 3 yuan per hour than a billing unit that charges 1.5 yuan per 30 minutes.

The adjustment of the billing system, coupled with the different landing scenarios, has further caused the rental price to rise. After visiting several business districts in Beijing, the reporter found that the rental price of shared power banks is basically stable at 2 to 3 yuan per hour, and KTV, bars, Internet celebrity stores, popular scenic spots and other places with high traffic will reach 4 to 5 yuan per hour.

Jiang Han, a senior researcher at Pangu Think Tank, told the China Reporter that the core purpose of the price increase is to seek more financing. "When the sharing economy became a trend, it may be possible to raise enough funds with a PPT, and now the market has passed the’burning money ‘period. Most consumers driven by electricity anxiety will not choose to abandon it because of price issues, which is why operators dare to risk user churn to rashly increase prices when they are short of money." Chen Liteng, a life service e-commerce analyst at the Internet Economic and Social Research Center, also told reporters that shared power banks used to be "horse racing" at a low price, without considering income. Now the market is mature, users have formed usage habits, and platforms are more concerned about sustainable development.

From the perspective of the profit model, it may be more revealing the logic behind the price increase. Experts say that the way for shared power bank operators to make money is to continuously pave the way. When there are more and more entrants, in order to seize market share, operators can only accept high admission fees and give merchants certain bargaining rights. The prospectus from Monster Charging shows that its commission rate has risen from 42.7% in 2019 to 44.1% in 2020, and the entrance fee has increased by as much as 260%.

The reporter learned that there are currently two types of merchants laying shared power banks: buyout type and franchise type. Under the buyout type, after purchasing from the operator, the merchant takes all the proceeds of the user’s rental and has the right to adjust the unit price of the rental; under the franchise type, the merchant and the platform share the proceeds. It is worth noting that the sharing ratio between the two parties is gradually imbalanced. "At present, the merchant will take 70% of the profits and withdraw cash from the Mini Program every month." A ground marketing staff of the small electric power bank told the China Report reporter that for stores that want to increase prices, the small electric does not specify the price increase range, but will give suggestions according to market conditions, "It is too outrageous and will damage our image, and users will not accept it."

Under multiple factors, price increases seem inevitable, and operators are becoming more and more cautious. The ground marketer revealed that whether it is new points or old contract renewal points, the net profit that merchants can eventually bring to operators has become a new standard for measuring performance. "This is completely different from the more you shop, the more money you get."

What are the key factors for future competition in the industry?

On April 1 this year, Monster Charging was listed on Nasdaq. (The picture comes from the Internet)

Will the price of shared power banks continue to rise?

"Changes in prices will inevitably affect the number of users. This is a dynamic process. As long as there is market demand, appropriate price adjustments will help maximise the platform’s revenue, while the retention of users will inhibit price fluctuations and gradually form a suitable price system," Chen Liteng said. Jiang Han believes that with the monopoly in the regional scope, operators can have a certain amount of room for price increases. If it exceeds the tolerance limit of consumers, it may lead to a crisis of trust.

In fact, it is not only the price issue, but also the overlord clause, difficult return, slow charging speed and other issues of shared power banks, as well as factors such as smart phone battery life capacity enhancement and low price of online power banks, which also make the profit model The development of a single shared power bank industry is increasingly limited.

On April 1 this year, Monster Charging became the "first share of shared power banks" in China, and Jiedian and Sodian also announced the completion of the merger on the same day. Subsequently, Xiaodian Technology sprinted to Hong Kong stocks. As early as May last year, Meituan announced its re-entry into the field of shared power banks. Industry insiders speculate that with the high stickiness between consumers, Meituan’s entry may change the industry landscape.

"Increasing prices is not the ultimate solution to the problem, and the merger of Street Power and Soupower is also normal. Now it is either a group to keep warm or to speed up the listing, which is an inevitable development outcome." Jiang Han analyzed that in addition to renting the majority of the income of shared power bank operators, there is also a small amount of advertising business and power bank sales. If you want to achieve long-term sustainable development, you must find profitable business models. "From the current point of view, these models are not profitable."

Shared power banks are also seeking to make great progress. "Bamang Technology", established after the merger of Jiedian and Soudian, will create innovative consumer scenes, and has launched smart end points such as mask machines and body temperature monitors; Monster Charging also positions itself as a "technology consumer company" and crosses the Baijiu business.

"What should we do? Or what is the right thing to do? No one can give a clear answer now, but from a diverse perspective, is there any other way to get more revenue? Or like Meituan, there are other businesses that can be used as support, and sharing power banks is just a means to improve user stickiness, or to improve service levels." Jiang Han said.

Written by China Reporter Chen Ke

He suffered from cerebral palsy since childhood and typed with the tip of his tongue against his lips. His science fiction was shortlisted for the grand prize.

Cctv news: Chen Weiqi is an online writer whose pen name is Lobster from Heaven. At the age of 35, it took him ten years to complete a 210,000-word novel "Advanced Life", which was also shortlisted for the 10th Global Chinese Science Fiction Xingyun Award earlier this month.

Chen Weiqi suffered from cerebral palsy since childhood and typed with the tip of his tongue against his lips. His science fiction was shortlisted for the grand prize. When his hands can’t knock on the keyboard, he types with the tip of his tongue against his lips and writes one literary work after another. Although he didn’t finish junior high school, it didn’t stop the "supplies" given to him by active thinking and reading enthusiasm.

At the beginning of this month, the 10th Global Chinese Science Fiction Xingyun Award announced the shortlist of works. Among the best novels, Chen Weiqi’s work "Advanced Life" was among them. Some netizens who are familiar with him lamented that Chen Weiqi’s creative experience itself is an extraordinary advanced process of life.

Chen Weiqi, who suffers from cerebral palsy and can’t stand and walk, can only move his left and right little fingers with his hands. He didn’t finish junior high school. He taught himself by surfing the Internet and wrote works of nearly one million words.

Can’t type with both hands, can’t pronounce clearly, and can’t use voice input. Chen Weiqi has explored a special typing method.

Once, Chen Weiqi tried to click on the keyboard with the only movable left little finger, but this method didn’t work because the arm was out of control. He simply tried all his five senses. His nose is too short and his chin is too large. Typing with his mouth biting chopsticks will make his mouth water … …

Finally, he finally found that typing with the tip of his tongue against his lips, although not fast, could last longer. So, with this method, he sat in front of the computer for more than ten hours every day and clicked the keyboard thousands of times with the tip of his tongue and lips to try to finish his writing.

Chen weiqiIf it hurts, you owe your ass a little. If it hurts on the left, push it slightly to the right. If it hurts on the right, push it harder on the left.

In Chen Weiqi’s science fiction, most of the protagonists can break through their own limitations through scientific and technological means, explore the universe and fight against evil forces, which may be pinning his desire to get rid of the real illness.

For ordinary people, it is natural and simple to control their body movements; For Chen Wei, this is an almost impossible luxury. Because he had cerebral palsy since childhood, he barely learned to walk at the age of seven, but he always had active thinking in his memory.

However, during the first summer vacation, his illness was aggravated by a sudden high fever, and he was bedridden for the next two years. At that time, he felt more desperate than ever. However, with strong willpower, his body gradually changed. Finally, one day, he sat up from the bed and began to teach himself junior high school courses. In 2001, he asked his family to buy him a computer with Internet access.

Through the Internet, Chen Weiqi read materials about medicine, philosophy, literature and so on, and sprouted the idea of writing. After finding a way to type with the tip of the tongue and lips, he kept trying to write and contribute. In 2003, his short science fiction stories were published on a website, which made him see hope.

Writing science fiction, let him regain confidence in confusion. In the next ten years, he completed the manuscript of the long science fiction "Advanced Life" and won many awards in online science fiction essays. However, in 2013, a serious illness struck again, causing him to lose consciousness below the head.

Unable to give up the manuscript of the work and unwilling to fate, Chen Wei made a strong effort to eat and let himself compete with his physical illness.

After half a year, Chen Weiqi’s illness gradually eased. With the help of his family and netizens, his two works were published successively.

A strong desire for creation enabled Chen Weiqi to find the direction, which supported him not to be depressed and not to give up. With the unimaginable efforts of ordinary people, he broke through the crisis and published his first novel.

Writing not only lit up his life, but also made him meet many friends who supported him. The warmth and friendship conveyed more confidence and courage. Today, Chen Weiqi has begun to try to get out of the house and embrace life.

In Chen Weiqi’s home, there is a Bluetooth device that uses the head to control the mouse, which was bought by netizens. Everyone often puts forward opinions and suggestions to help him improve his works. These warm actions are silently remembered by him. After the publication of Advanced Life, Chen Weiqi specially asked his family to buy 60 copies, printed his pen name with the seal sent by netizens, and sent it to those who helped him.

With more and more communication with friends, Chen Weiqi is becoming more and more cheerful.

Now, Chen Weiqi began to walk out of the house in a wheelchair to communicate with literary societies in some colleges and universities, share his writing experience face to face, and convey his goodwill and feelings.

Chen weiqiI am lucky to be born in such an era and such a society. It can be said that if there is no computer, no internet and the development of information technology during this period, I simply can’t imagine that a person like me can do things.

It is unfortunate for Chen Weiqi to be ill and have difficulty in moving since childhood, but the particularity of a writer lies in that any experience may become the source of creation. Chen Weiqi said that when you can’t write, you should also bite the bullet and write down, and then optimize everything. Isn’t this what he learned from the struggle against illness? I will walk till the water checks my path is inevitable in life, and we must never stop at this time. Only by persisting in moving forward can we finally have a day in then sit and watch the rising clouds.

Today, Chen Weiqi has walked out of that room and actively communicated with more people and integrated into society. This is a very happy thing. Finding one’s own existence and advanced way is not only what Chen Weiqi has to work hard to do, but also worthy of our serious consideration.

Report release

The Top 100 Future Medical Care Companies of Arterial Network will launch the growth report of the top 100 enterprises every year according to the list of the Top 100 Future Medical Care Companies of that year. On the occasion of the 2023 TOP100 Future Healthcare Conference, the Growth Analysis Report of TOP100 Future Healthcare Enterprises in 2023 was released again, which comprehensively analyzed the data of the five major enterprises in China TOP100 Innovative Medical Devices List, China TOP100 Innovative Biomedical List, China TOP100 Innovative Digital Healthcare List, China Top 100 Innovative Medical Services List and China Top 100 Innovative Business and Supply Chain Service List. We expect to summarize the growth law and industrial change trend of enterprises with the help of multi-dimensional analysis of the enterprises listed in the top 100 medical care list every year, and provide reference for medical and health enterprises and entrepreneurs.

The cumulative valuation of listed companies exceeded RMB 1 trillion for four consecutive years, and the average valuation of TOP10 companies reached RMB 23.326 billion. In this year’s list, there are five lists of medical devices, biomedicine, digital medical care, medical services, commerce and supply chain services, totaling 500 enterprises, with a total valuation of about 1.5 trillion yuan. The average valuation of listed companies was RMB 3.068 billion, down about 16% compared with 2022 (with an average valuation of RMB 3.657 billion). Similar to the previous list, 75% of the listed companies are valued in the range of RMB 1-6 billion, and enterprises in this valuation range constitute the main group of unlisted companies in the big health industry. In addition, a total of 17 companies have a valuation exceeding 10 billion, and 5 companies have a valuation of more than 20 billion. The average valuation of the TOP10 companies has reached 23.942 billion yuan, of which 6 companies are digital medical enterprises.

The valuation performance of enterprises in the medical device list is stable, and the data of medical robots on the list is bright. In 2022, medical device enterprises still achieved steady growth under the high base in 2021. Compared with the other four main lists, the total valuation of enterprises on the medical device list was stable, and the valuation and number of medical robot enterprises on the list increased significantly compared with last year. On the one hand, excluding the weakening effect of the listing of two super unicorns, Lianying Medical and Huada Zhizhi, on the total valuation of the device list, the number of financing events in the primary market of medical devices exceeded 400 in 22 years (surpassing innovative drugs to become the medical and health track with the largest number of financing events in 2022), and high-frequency and large-scale financing boosted the valuation of medical device enterprises. On the other hand, medical robots are currently one of the hottest tracks in the field of innovative equipment, which is favored by capital. Taking surgical robots as an example, the total number of financing in 22 years has exceeded 30 times, which makes the listed data of this track enterprise more competitive.

The innovative drug track has picked up, and 22 years of financing has accelerated, helping the biomedical list valuation to lead the main list. The development of frontier biotechnology tracks such as cell therapy, gene therapy and nucleic acid drugs is the main driving factor for the investment and financing in the biomedical field and the further growth of the valuation of the track enterprises. In 2022, the biomedical field has made outstanding financing achievements in the primary market at home and abroad. At the same time, the current domestic pharmaceutical industry is undergoing structural changes, bringing new growth points and ensuring that some innovative enterprises remain active. Based on the analysis of the enterprises listed in the current biomedical list, a number of innovative biomedical enterprises in China with international competitiveness began to emerge, leading the biomedical list in terms of valuation. In addition, under the investment strategy of paying attention to biotechnology and investing early and investing small, a large number of early biomedical enterprises have obtained high financing, with a valuation exceeding RMB 1 billion.

The digital medical unicorn has the best valuation performance, and the overall valuation level of the digital medical list is relatively optimistic. At present, the sub-fields clearly covered by digital medical care include digital therapy, medical informatization, AI+ medical care, etc., which are used to realize disease prevention and management, auxiliary diagnosis, auxiliary treatment, clinical workflow, rehabilitation, new drug research and development and other related applications. Generally speaking, the capital selection is more cautious when the investment and financing ebb, and the underlying technology of digital medical care is indeed developing continuously with the naked eye. Enterprises deeply involved in this field have very optimistic and certain growth potential at both B-end and C-end, and the innovation and foresight based on emerging digital technologies are the main reasons for the increase in valuation.

The valuation level of medical service, business and supply chain service enterprises is low. The valuation of unicorn enterprises with high growth medical services has made steady progress. However, the medical service enterprises represented by genetic testing services and specialized chain services were affected by the epidemic situation in the first half of 22 years and the adjustment of epidemic policy in the second half, and their valuation levels declined. In addition, due to the expansion of the newly established list, the overall valuation level of the companies listed in this new business and supply chain service list is the lowest compared with other lists.

Beijing and Shanghai have obvious geographical advantages, and they continue to rank TOP2 in the list of enterprises. In terms of distribution cities, the statistical results of the list data show that there are obvious advantages in the number of large health-related innovative enterprises in Shanghai, with a total of 121 listed enterprises. Among them, the number of enterprises in medical devices, biomedicine and commercial and supply chain services ranks in the top three. The cumulative valuation of listed companies in Shanghai is 337.267 billion RMB, with an average valuation of 2.787 billion RMB. The number of listed enterprises in Beijing ranks second, with a total of 116 enterprises on the list. Among them, the number of enterprises in the fields of digital medical care, medical services and biomedicine ranks in the top. The cumulative valuation of listed enterprises in Beijing is 311.915 billion RMB, with an average valuation of 2.683 billion RMB. Similar to the results of previous years’ list selection, the whole industrial chain of Great Health is concentrated in Shanghai and Beijing, with 237 listed enterprises in the two cities, with a cumulative valuation of nearly 650 billion yuan, accounting for 42.18% of the total valuation of listed enterprises.

Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone and Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Economic Zone are still fertile ground for the growth of big healthy enterprises; Shenzhen and Hangzhou are the second echelon of large health enterprises; Guangzhou and Suzhou are the third echelon of large health enterprises. The medical and health industrial clusters generally follow the growth path of "local agglomeration-regional cooperation-global competition and cooperation" in space, and industrial clusters have become the new engine of regional development. In addition to Beijing and Shanghai, the Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle, represented by Hangzhou and Suzhou, and the Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Economic Circle, represented by Shenzhen and Guangzhou, have built a highly competitive industrial environment for the development of the medical and health industry. In particular, business and supply chain enterprise services cover a wide range, including medicine and equipment CRO/CMO/CDMO/CSO, life science tools and services, innovative channels and marketing services, innovative payment services, logistics services, medical insurance and financial services. Therefore, paying attention to the distribution of commercial and supply chain service enterprises can further observe the industrial completeness of each city. More than half of the listed enterprises in Shanghai and Beijing are fertile ground for the growth of current commercial and supply chain service enterprises.

Chengdu continues to lead the new first-tier cities in the west and gather highlands for medical and health enterprises in the west.It is worth mentioning that the big health industry in the western economic circle with Chengdu as the core is rising rapidly. The listed companies in the city are all leaders in subdivided tracks, gaining competitive advantages in their respective fields of deep cultivation, pushing up the average valuation to 5.6 billion yuan, ranking first in all cities. Chengdu itself is an important economic center and scientific and technological innovation center in the western region, with a sound industrial base and talent advantages, which provides a good development environment for the big health industry. In addition, the government continues to adopt a full-cycle support policy for innovative enterprises in this field, attracting a large number of capital and talents to enter the big health industry in this region.
