Gangs organized others to smuggle profits and were uprooted. Guangxi destroyed a smuggling gang that occupied the border and arrested 17 people.
The Baise Border Management Detachment of Guangxi Border Inspection Station recently informed the public that the detachment successfully destroyed a smuggling gang entrenched in the border area, and 17 suspects were caught in the net.
At the beginning of March this year, the police of Yuexu Border Police Station of Baise Border Management Detachment learned in their work that some lawless elements used the convenience of being familiar with the routes in border areas to organize others to cross the border illegally, from which they obtained huge illegal benefits, which seriously disrupted the border order. The detachment immediately organized the police to conduct analysis and judgment, and gradually found out the key information such as the hierarchical structure and personnel distribution of the gang. A smuggling gang headed by a foreigner Huang gradually surfaced.
On March 22nd, after investigation, the detachment learned that a group of foreigners were going to sneak into China from the vicinity of the Sino-Vietnamese border boundary pillar, and immediately mobilized elite police forces to conduct surveillance in key border areas such as Yuexu Town in Jingxi City, waiting for an opportunity to catch the gang.
After the success of the first battle, the police pursued the victory and arrested three other people, including Nong and Zhang, who led the group of people into the country illegally in Yuexu Town and Hurun Town.
As the backbone members of the gang were arrested one after another, Huang, the leader of the gang, became very cautious and it was difficult to detect the news.
On March 24, after continuous tracking, the police learned that Huang was hiding in a cowshed in the border area between China and Vietnam, and then took decisive arrest action. The police used drones to search the area, and with skilled control technology, they quickly locked Huang’s hiding place. Half an hour later, the police successfully arrested Huang, a foreigner who was the leader of the gang.
At this point, a criminal gang that has been entrenched in the Sino-Vietnamese border for a long time to transport others across the border was uprooted. At present, the case is being further processed.
It is reported that since the deployment of the "Spring Thunder" operation, the Baise Border Management Detachment has comprehensively stepped up efforts to crack down on border-related illegal and criminal activities, and has cracked more than 200 cases of various illegal and criminal crimes, arrested more than 400 suspects, and collected a batch of guns and explosives, effectively defending national security and border stability.
