Bribery was more than 7 million yuan, and illegal lending caused the country to lose 700 million yuan. On September 5th this year, Huang Jinjiang, the former president of Dazhou Branch of China Agricultural Bank, was sentenced to death by Ziyang Court.

From 1991 to 1997, Huang Jinjiang successively served as Party Secretary and President of Daxian Branch, Dachuan Branch and Dazhou Branch of Agricultural Bank of China. once
By chance, he met Chen Zhiwu, the boss of Sichuan Shengshi Group Co., Ltd. The predecessor of Sichuan Shengshi Group is a village-run collective enterprise in Wuhou District, Chengdu. In 1989, it was renamed Chengdu Shengshi Industrial Corporation. In just a few years, "Chengdu Shengshi" has developed into a local star enterprise. In 1996, Chen Zhiwu established Sichuan Shengshi Group Company with a registered capital of 40.45 million yuan with Shengshi Industry and other companies as sponsors.
After Huang Jinjiang became the branch head of Agricultural Bank of China, Dazhou, Chen Zhiwu began to contact Huang Jinjiang and others. Chen began to "give gifts" to Huang, from Rolex watches, a house in Chengdu, and finally directly to RMB. From 1993 to 1997, Huang Jinjiang received a total of 2.27 million yuan and 550,000 US dollars, totaling more than 7 million yuan.
After accepting bribes, Huang Jinjiang joined hands with Xu Dechao, former vice president of Dazhou Agricultural Bank, Yang Jian, former manager of international business department of Dazhou Agricultural Bank, Xue Ming, vice president and director of Quxian Credit Cooperative, vice president and president of Dazhu Agricultural Bank, to "help" Shengshi Group and its affiliated enterprises.
It is understood that Xu Dechao accepted bribes of RMB 2,229,900, USD 50,000, a radar watch and a Rolex watch from Zhi Zhiwu. Yang Jian accepted a bribe of RMB 137,000, HK$ 4,000 and a brown leather coat. Xue Ming accepted bribes of RMB 255,000 and USD 16,700 from Chen Zhiwu.
The country lost 700 million yuan.
Four people made profits for Shengshi Group by issuing loans, issuing letters of credit and issuing bank acceptance bills. As a result, Dazhou Agricultural Bank’s RMB 449,228,848 and USD 37,599,311 (a total of RMB 700 million) have not been recovered.
After the bribery incident of Shengshi Group was exposed, Huang Jinjiang was led out. He returned $550,000 in 1999, but he still failed to escape legal sanctions.
On September 5th, after a public prosecution by the ziyang Procuratorate, the court sentenced Huang Jinjiang to death, deprived him of his political rights for life and confiscated all his personal property.
